Pleasant view Mental corrections has been abandoned for years, the ancient building slowly rotting and crumbling under the damage of the great fire, which caused the doors to be shut forever. There were many tales of patients being harmed more than helped, however this could never be confirmed as the hospital's strict policy forbid members of public from seeing past the reception area. As a result, some families simply never saw their loved ones again after they were admitted. Patients saved from the fire that destroyed the entire 3rd floor of the hospital spoke of the horrors of pleasant view, but no one believed the insane.
