I recently learned that Rick, the voice actor for Team Fortress 2 Soldier has past away. (He also voiced P. Hare from Star Fox, but I didn't own Star Fox.)

Personally, Team Fortress 2 was a great inspiration to me. It brought me moments of joy and laughter, of excitement and struggle. It brought my friends together, where we enjoyed our casuals and our robot destroying.

For the Soldier to die, it was saddening. All the games I've played, all the lines I've heard, the Source Film Maker films and Garrys Mod videos I've seen, the songs and sketches made with his voice, he was everywhere in the media I consumed.

No one can truly replace him. All I can truly say is: Rest in peace. God bless, Soldier. God bless.
