Ever since the disastrous test thousands of years before Insurgents even achieved spaceflight, Quantum Reach has been experiencing anomalous disturbances. The planet is known to experience randomly shifting poles, unstable tectonics and physics is generally unreliable on the surface which has attracted imperial scientists to build research stations all over Quantum Reach to study particles and the crystals themselves. A particular research and mining station on Quantum Reach has discovered an Akrillium crystal, an ultra rare highly prismatic and much larger version of standard Akrillium. Unfortunately, spies within the mining guild leaked information of this discovery to the wider galactic community and now Quantum Reach is under threat of invasion.
