Nestled into a forested coastline, this small retreat opens to a view of the rugged waterfront. Anchored by a weathered cedar clad bedroom wing, a bold, concrete cantilever projects the living and sleeping spaces with a dual view of the water and natural treescape. Two decks protrude from the contemporary structure with access from inside the kitchen and bedroom lounge, separated by large sliding glass doors. The flat roof design is intended to blend the structure into its environment with simplistic lines while serving as an environmentally friendly green roof with solar panels. Crossing over a stream extends to a one-bedroom guesthouse, equipped with luxurious full-sized living, sleeping, and outdoor spaces.
