Some puzzles will require you to write down important clues - they can be anywhere: on the walls, hidden in decorations, under objects, or stored in unexpected places. Click around the rooms to interact with anything that seems suspect or interesting.
If you're playing with friends, communication is key. Remember: you're not escaping alone - you're a team. Working together and matching everyone's ideas is always better than trying to escape alone.
