It's possible that loading the local log's messages could be an expensive operation, so no tabs are open by default. I might change that behavior though. Just click on the local log.

Click and drag to scroll sideways. Use ctrl + scrollwheel or pinch your touchscreen to zoom in/out.

Viewing the log at 1 billion lines has the same performance as viewing the log at 100 lines (assuming you have enough memory.) It only creates labels that are in-frame, and scrolling frame math is done manually to avoid the short UDim screen coordinates from wrapping at 32k pixels.
The only caveat being that it doesn't support TextWrapped, which is mitigated by sideways scrolling and text zooming.
