As a result of this, many supporting positions have been created to give him the necessary rest to focus on the great tasks ahead. For this reason, the Deputy Ruler steps into the breach to lend support wherever he can.

You found yourself between the rolling shores of the coast, in the shadow of castle Teutogard, and the snow-capped peaks of the Alpine mountains beyond, at the same time as the Ruler of the Realm, Leutgard.

Enlisted in the Teutonnic Army

Lending a hand to the cause of national defence, you enlisted as a conscript with the Greater Teutonnic Army. The Teutonnic Army fights heroically on countless fronts, engaged in the most difficult and seemingly unending mechanized wars of attrition across Europe. Vast columns of armoured vehicles spearhead the attack, supported by powerful artillery, the aim always being to smash the enemy, encircle and destroy the foe: to bring glory and victory to the Realm.

Rose up as an Insurgent

Against the domestic might of the Ruler's ideal, a scattering of violent gangs, rebels and partisans fight a constant battle. You have chosen - perhaps poorly - to align yourself with this lost cause. We shall see how fate plays out!

Signed up for the Unity League

The task of governing and administering a nation is no easy one, but to you it came easily, and you made this clear with the conscious and forthright decision to volunteer yourself for the Unity League. Binding the Teutonnic nation together through campaigns of unity and loyalty, administering every single aspect of civilian life in the Realm, you are an instrument of the domestic peace that reigns under the Ruler's benevolent gaze.

Rallied with the Unityguard

Whilst at the front countless soldiers, sailors and airpersonnel give their everything for Teutonnia, at home the Ruler's ideal must be enforced at all costs. The muscle behind this enforcement finds itself in the staunchly loyal guardsmen and women of the Unityguard. Adopting a wide range of tasks from civil defence to border patrol and anti-partisan duties, to the holding of critical defensive points behind the frontline, and auxiliary duties provisioning the troops with the necessary rear support, the Unityguard is the backbone of the Realm's faith.

Flew with the Teutonnic Air Force

No modern war can be fought without the decisive air arm. For this, Teutonnic engineers and scientists have designed a vast array of jet powered aircraft, perfectly readied for the complete destruction of the Realm's foes in the skies over Europe. Jet fighters, fighter-bombers, and tactical bombers as well as decisive strategic aircraft are manned and flown by the brave airpersonnel of the Teutonnic airforce, wherever they might be required.

Rallied with the Rulerguard

Rome had it's Praetorian guard, Napoleon his Old Guard, and so the Ruler too has his elite Rulerguard. Their sole and binding purpose is to protect him and his position as Ruler of the Realm at all costs, against any foe, within or without. For this cause, they will give everything. To volunteer for this elite formation is to assign yourself a higher duty, which comes with a higher risk: beloved by Teutonnians, abroad the Rulerguard is fiercely despised as the instrument of Teutonnic fury.

Sailed with the Teutonnic Navy

A widely promoted and bombastic piece of Teutonnian propaganda recalls the Ruler's humble birth as the son of a sailor. Such attention has been dedicated to this piece of national lore that even songs and poems have been produced in honour of his ordinary heritage. This in mind, it comes as no surprise that many Teutonnians volunteer for the navy, as opposed to the airforce or the army. Sailing with the Atlantic fleet in gigantic warships, silently gliding beneath the surface in submarines, or defending vital coastal artillery installations, the navy gives glory to Teutonnic laurels at sea.
