Saber Showdown FAQ:
1] How do I change my saber color? Click on the edit tab and press the change color tab on the top middle of the screen. You are most likely switching your form. Red and blue are free.

2] Why are power moves not working? Most power moves require power focus on a target. This is when you look at an opponent until you see smoke. You can make it easier to tell by turning on the power focus glow indicator in the settings.
