Apparently, two (armed) males sent an (unarmed) female to the door in an attempt to get the homeowners to open the door, allowing the invaders access to the home. This cowardly scheme evidently didn’t work out well at all for the female, who is now dead from a .22 gunshot wound. The male home invaders are on the run, probably thankful the woman was willing to give up her life to save theirs. Ironically, the homeowners are said to be a family that was featured on the MTV/CMT program “World’s Strictest Parents”, which sends troubled teens to live with parents who practice “tough love” and offer discipline in place of permissiveness. It sounds like theirs would be the last home thieves would choose to rob. But then, all criminals are not geniuses.
Armed citizens need to be prepared to defend their homes. I think you could make the case that there are no terrorist attacks in communities where the majority of residents possess firearms and the skill and the will to use them.
